MSgt Keith Morrison has asked us to help with the letter/get well card campaign he has started for the wounded at Balad Air Base in Iraq.

I started a letter/get well card campaign for the wounded at a large Theater Hospital we have here. All the wounded are brought here and it’s a lot of service members. My original thought on the letters and the get well cards started as a way for my children, nieces and nephews to do something for the troops. They were all asking what they could do to get involved. I asked them if they would be interested in writing letters or get well cards to the wounded service members and they were so excited, they told their schools and all their friends. What they are doing is writing letters of thanks, pride, and comfort to them, or just sending get well cards. They got so involved in it that I decided to get the word out to as many people and organizations as I could. Anything you can do to send cards, or just getting the word out, would be so appreciated by the wounded service members.

I am currently serving in Norway, yes know what your thinking how tough, which it can be when it comes to cost. Just wondering do you have a coupon collecting club? Looking to receive coupons for the others stationed here to cut down on the cost of food for families at the BX. Coupons can not be older than six months past the expiration date.
